Who We Are

Bixx AI ("Bixx", "we", "us") is an AI chat assistant available on the web and as a mobile app. This policy covers both.

What We Collect

We only collect what we need to run the service:

• Account information - your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google account identifier. If you register with email, we store your email and a securely hashed password.
• Personalization details - the name, interests, and response-style preferences you provide during onboarding or in settings.
• Chat content - the messages you send and the AI responses you receive, so your conversation history is available to you.
• Voice input - if you use the voice feature, your device microphone records audio only while you are actively dictating. That audio is processed to convert your speech into text. We do not record audio in the background.
• Basic technical data - standard information such as app version and general device type, used for reliability and security.

How We Use It

• To provide the chat assistant and generate responses.
• To keep you signed in and secure your account.
• To personalize how Bixx talks to you based on your preferences.
• To maintain, debug, and improve the service.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that make Bixx work:

• Authentication & storage providers that host your account and chat history on our behalf.
• AI model providers that process your messages to generate responses.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.

These providers may process your data only to deliver their service to us. We may also disclose data if required by law.

Data Retention

We keep your account information and chat history for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your associated personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Deleting Your Account & Data

You can delete your account and its data at any time from within the app: open Settings → Account and choose to delete your account. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the address below, and we will action it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Bixx is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Bixx after an update means you accept the revised policy.
